As an Artist not only do I love Art but I love fashion, the thing is I'm hardly ever up to date on what's new because I don't have the time to catch up on the latest trends or new releases. The only reason why I think I came across this article is because I'm an avid fan of Louis Vuitton fan. I received my first Louis back in the Late 80's as a my High School graduation gift (I should have taken a picture of me with my cherished Louis) so needless to say I was thrilled when I came across an article on Art and Fashion and I just had to share. So let me just say Art and Fashion have been intertwined for forever in one form or another but I don't recall any particular one to be as obvious as this collection. Louis Vuitton has collaborated with several Artists in the past but the most recent collaboration is with artist Jeff Koons. Artist Jeff Koons If you're not familiar with Jeff Koons he's the Artist known for his contemporary art pieces that depict everyday items, in 2013 he sold his Orange Balloon Dog for $58.4. I think Koons is cool in that his appearance is not that of the Artist stereotype, just look at him... It's awesome he's professionally dressed in a suit and tie I love it. This collection is entitled The Masters Collection which refers to a few of the greatest Masters of Art... Rubens, DaVinci, Fragonard, Titian and Van Gough. My favorite detail of these bags is that Koons added a biography of the particular artist on the inside of the bag in embossed lettering. There's also Scarves and Key-chains as part of the collection. And one of my favorites ... The iPad folio To see the entire collection visit Louis Vuitton Thanks for visiting.
